The Flying Shuttle

Before the Industrial revolution came around, people were making textiles by hand, and that would take a long time. The flying shuttle changed all this. John Kay was the inventor of the flying shuttle. The flying shuttle was a little boat shaped piece of wood on wheels that sped back and forth which had yarn attached. It doubled the work a weaver could do in a day. It helped it so more textiles could be produced faster. Later on more inventions would improve on this one.
